Karridale Primary School welcomes all new enrolments from Kindy to Year 6.

Applications to attend our school may be received at any time. To enter Kindy in 2024 your child must turn 4 years of age by 30 June 2024.

In WA, children can start their education in Kindy, however compulsory schooling starts the following year in Pre-primary.

Only permanent Australian residents and those children holding an approved visa subclass number are eligible to enrol in public schools. Children may be enrolled in Kindergarten in one school only, either public or private.

You need to apply to enrol your child(ren) in school for 2024 if they are:

starting Kindergarten – 4 years old by 30 June 2024
starting Pre-primary (first year of compulsory school) – 5 years old by 30 June 2024
changing schools.

Enrolment Process for New Students

Parents are to complete for each child:

an Enrolment Form
a Student Health Care Summary

You will also need to provide your child’s:

Birth Certificate or Passport or Birth Extract
AIR (Australian Immunisation Record) History Statement – no more than 2 months old
Three (3) hard copies of proof of residential address (eg a current rates, electricity, drivers licence, showing your current address)
VISA information (if applicable)
Family Court Orders (if applicable)

2024 Kindy Enrolments

If your child is born between 1 July 2019 and 20 June 2020 (4 years old by 30 June 2024) you may apply to enrol your child at Karridale Primary School for Kindergarten for 2024.
